Who doesn’t love free stuff? Fuse is currently hosting a free music download of Lucero’s “Tears Don’t Matter Much” off our recent vinyl reissue of “That Much Further West.” Head here to check it out. You can also find the 2xLP in limited edition Blue vinyl exclusively from Insound.

It’s been in the works for a long time, and we are happy to announce that Lucero’s “That Much Further West” 2xLP will be released on November 1st. The original album comprises the first LP, with the second LP containing alternate versions of every album track. Both 180g vinyl records are packaged together in an old-style Gatefold jacket and an mp3 download coupon is included for the entire package. Pre-order information will be announced very soon.

Sabot Productions will no longer be manufacturing any releases on compact disc. We will continue to release everything on vinyl & digitally. Our back catalog of compact discs could now be considered limited edition, as these will not be manufactured again. We’ve created a new t-shirt, ACT031, to commemorate this occasion. In other news, we are happy to announce that production on Lucero’s “That Much Further West” vinyl re-issue is now underway. This will be a 2xLP packaged in a gatefold jacket, with the second LP comprising the original bonus disc of live & alternate versions of each song on the album.

For those who have yet to pick up the new Ninja Gun 12” EP, you may not have seen our new center label design (pictured above). You may also notice that the 12” has a punch-out center, which as far as we know, is the very first 12” in the world to do so. Many thanks to our friends at United Record Pressing for the hours spent setting up the record press to do this. If you’ve punched out the center of your Ninja Gun 12” or Against Me! “High Pressure Low” 7”, be sure to hold onto them as you never know what we’ve got up our sleeve…

We’ve got a new website for the new year. Everything’s been streamlined, you’ll now find vinyl pressing info on each release page. Please have a look around. In even more exciting news, the Ben Nichols “The Last Pale Light in the West” vinyl has arrived. This is our third entry in Lucero’s vinyl re-issue series, pressed on 180g vinyl with all new artwork. We’re taking pre-orders now. The record comes out next Tuesday, and Ben will be playing an in-store at Arkansas CD and Record Exchange in Little Rock, AR. We encourage everyone in the area to check it out.
